The Scholarship Committee met in June and approved sixteen students for interest-free loans in the amount of $1,250 each for this academic year. The recipients are: Jennifer Gallo, granddaughter of Daniel Sheridan; Deborah Burdett, daughter of Peter Burdett; Catherine Crane, granddaughter of Mary Barker; Zarina Kyle, daughter of Thomas Kyle; Sarah Waterman, daughter of Charles Waterman; Johanna Kasper, daughter of Robert Kasper; Brian MacPherson, son of Craig MacPherson; Scott Wood, grandson of Raymond Wood; John Burdett, son of peter Burdett; Daniel Malconian, son of Ann Malconian; William Sheridan, grandson of Daniel Sheridan; Tyler French, grandson of David Penniman; Luke Kyle, son of Thomas Kyle; Sarah MacPherson, daughter of Craig MacPherson; Alyson Wood, granddaughter of Raymond Wood; and Andrew Fitzgerald, grandson of Adelle Fitzgerald.
These scholarship loans are available to children and grandchildren of Chapter members. If the students maintain a high enough grade point average, up to 15% of the loan may be forgiven. This creates a shortfall in the repayments that must be covered by donations. If you have not done so already, please consider making a donation to the Scholarship Loan program. To do so, contact COL Cal Hosmer or mail the donation to NH Chapter of MOAA, P.O. Box 712, Dover, NH 03820.
